I've been rather busy after the semester ended. Started work for a bit right after the last exam, and now I'm officially doing an internship with the US company which I will work with when I am there ;p
Over the weekend, I hosted a friend from Sydney, Hannah. She's actually a friend of Jani's, and more importantly, a lovely sister in Christ. We spent 2 days exploring the citystate and we had mighty fun. Walking around the streets in Geylang can be scary, but I feel sad for the girls standing by the streets. Imagine what God must be feeling to see them in this state. That reminds me of the song This Is Our God. Louie told us the story of the song during the Passion Kuala Lumpur last year. The song came to an Irish worship band, Bluetree, when they were on a mission trip to Pattaya. For greater things have yet to come, and greater things are still to be done, in this city. God is able to work beyond our imagination, our limits, and our comprehension :)
Apart from that, I made Hannah try the frog porridge. Her expression was classic. Haha. It tasted good of course, but she almost couldnt take it when we took a look at the frogs that were still alive in the shop. Haha. The frogs were adorable, really, but to think that one of them is actually in our tummy, it didnt feel good. Haha.
I was gonna leave for Taipei on Monday, glad that Joseph and some other girls frm other caregroups were able to bring her around for the remaining 3 days. But yea, she kept telling me that the people here are very generous. I would say, that's because she met us! Hahah! ;p
All fascinated by the bun ;p
