I've been working on projects and projects alone for the past few weeks, but I thank God for the heart to love what I have been doing. Deadline after deadline, I actually wished that I had more projects to look forwards to :)
All things worked out really well, and I am sure that it's all because of His favor. Projectmates were a wonderful bunch of people, and I've met some good friends along the way.
NM3204 E-learning webquest was well taken care of by Ken. We did a fair bit of ground work and Ken spent some time putting them together. I was sure that the project's in good hands so I could focus more on other projects.
NM3216 Game Design project 2 was really fun. Even though I had to learn a new game engine which I was totally clueless about, I was really happy that I have some really supportive friends! The painful period didnt last long and I was able to pick up rather quickly after familiarizing myself with the game engine, Blender. Special thanks to Steve who's been really patient in answering my stupid questions. Haha! I had fun developing the game event though we had really limited time. And I thank God that the girls were really easy to work with :)
This video is a walkthrough of the game. I think the game was developed in a week, or so. I am happy with the end product :D
NM2208 Storybook for kids! I had so much fun working on this project. Spent a total of 5 days at least- coloring in Photoshop. I guess that's really what I like doing. Steve's Wacom helped tremendously! I am sure it wouldnt be that nice if it wasnt for his Wacom. Also I'm really thankful that we have people with different strengths in our group. The moment we saw the printed storybook, we almost teared. Haha! It's all paid off. Precious storybook!
CS5245 The HANDphone is the final project I've got. It's a privilege to get to work with Jack, Nelson and Hongkheng as I got to learn so much from them. This is a video we have to do for our Special Effects module. So it's a video with some special effects in there ;p
We spent the last weekend of school working on the video. The last few nights in lab were really nice even though we got so tired after. But I really liked that because finally, I feel like we're a class in NUS. That's something lacking because of the system here but yea, I shall elaborate more next time ;p But yea, working together with friends can be really fun, even though it means staying over in lab and also being deprived from sleep. I start missing those days already :)
All in all, I am so thankful that God doesn't only bring me through, He made sure that I had a great time working on those projects. His words and songs refreshed me every day. Whenever I felt tired, His songs never failed to remind me that the strength I need flows from heaven, and the supply never stops.
I enjoy this semester a lot, I really do. Nothing can be more precious than enjoying what you do. It's all Father who made it possible :)

Hey!! I love those projects too! They're so fabulous and creative, especially the HANDphone one! But I don't understand why does it take so much time to pick up the string in the mouse game, and yet ended up not getting it assembled? and too bad I can't read the words in the story book, they're too blur.. But the colours are wonderful :) make me feel like reading the book myself!
Haha, and your stern-look expression in the last video was priceless! hahaha!
omg babe! your projects are awesome stuff!!
i wish i knew all these skills too!! :D
The HANDphone one is pretty scary when you can take out the hand and put on charger oO but that was some good visual effects there! =)
@Cherlinn Thanks! ;p Maybe I'll be able to show you the storybook itself some day. Not quite sure if it'll ever come true, but we'll see. Haha!
@Cathy Thanks babe! :) It's not too hard to learn them actually. Ultimately it depends on where your interest lies in ya. I wished I had the crazy reading/writing skills that USP students have!! Hahah!
@Ome I'm glad that you found it scary! We needed to add some 'unexpected' element in the movie, to sort of make it a climax. Hah! I've seen the clip like thousand and one times, so I hardly feel anything about it. Haha ;p
