Romans 8
28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.
30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

For my best friend

Happpy Birthday lady SN!

Totally missed the times when we were crazily celebrating birthdays with other girlfriends back in Penang. McDonalds was the place to be >.<

Even though I miss celebrating your birthday with you, I know you've got the someone out there who will give you your best birthday ;)

Thanks for being the one who not only tells, but listens too. She knows me best ;)
She's been the one whom I will definitely catch up with each time I go back home, cause the rest would either be out of state, or busy with school activities. And I actually spend most of my time with my families too when I'm home. There have been friends whom I havent seen in the past 2 years, or 1 year since I came to Singapore. But hey, I've been seeing Ah Nee each time I go back during the breaks.

Darling girl, have a blessed year ahead and just continue to be who you are alright?
It's been almost 4 years now and I hope that we will always be like this for the years to come!

And I'm already looking forward to getting together again with our girlfriends during Chinese New Year!

Manila, Jan '08

So I shall dedicate a post to my fellow ASES Manila Crew!
I spent only 1.5 days in Manila, and the stay was so full of FUN and well, FOOD :D

So the places that I went to are-
Serendra, Bonifacio High Street, Pier 1 for dinner, Ateneo, and then Greenbelt!
Welcoming Partey @ Pier 1, with the exotic Philippino food ;p

Can you see us?

So little >.<

And I was made running like the guy on the Nike billboard. WHAT?!
Right, Vicki persuaded me to go crazy in a foreign land.

Taiwan, winter 2007

I met a whole bunch of new people. Worked with some of them, and lived with some of them, and took care of some of them.

For the people whom I worked with-
Through the 21 days, I am glad that I managed to work well with some of my co-workers. There were countless disagreements in the team, but we managed to resolve the issues most of the times for good. I've learnt to really look at things from a different angle, which helped a lot. I learnt to see some lessons through others' experiences. And I learnt, through some other people, the consequences of being so filled with pride. Most importantly, I learnt to work with different kinds of people. I was so humbled. I was quiet. I was listening. I was observing. But I was learning.
For the people whom I took care of-
They are the bestest kids ever, really. Totally love them ;) They reminded me of my own mates, Water Gun Clan of 2005, whom I miss dearly. I hope that we will still be in touch despite the physical distance. For kids numbered with 5, you guys really rock. Thanks for being so cooperative all the while. I just cant help but to love you guys. Almost didnt want the 21 days to end, simply because I didnt want us to be parted. I think we exist perfect as a family ;p
For the people whom I enjoyed catching up with-
ASES Taiwan, yea you guys are super! Thanks for having dinners with me even amidst your preparation for finals. Both were really fun! And also Anita for getting everything organized, so loved. And then the crew of KMT 2005 and 2006, it was great seeing some of you guys. That's the spirit. Sylvia, Bing, Barbie, Song, Mian, You, Efing (even though I didnt really see you >.<) ;)

And I made a side trip down south which was really great. I finally went to the place which I've always longed for- Cingjing Farm and Hehuan Mount. Both the places were just so beautiful. Thanks +0 for making this trip possible. So chilled. Was in awe of the beautiful creations of Daddy God.
Hehuan Mount, gorgeous!

Sheeps dont like Penny >.<

Breaking the silence

It's been awfully quiet for almost 2 months now hasnt it?
Here comes some updates for those still reading ;p

My winter break is finally over, and I'm back to school again.

I didnt really post about my holiday plans as it was meant to be a surprise for my best friend. Indeed, I managed to give her a lovely surprise before the year 2007 ended. Yes, I went to Taiwan ;) The month spent there was awesome. Did a lot of stuff, met many new people, had fun with some old friends, and most of all, many lessons learnt. It was a total different experience altogether.

I actually stopped over in Manila for 1.5 days before going home, Penang. Thanks to the ASES Manila crew. They are just the coolest hosts! Kat, Yahoo, Jer, Vicki, Kich, Claire, Rej, Kim, Lor, Steph. I didnt miss anyone out did I? Ah and Kat's super cool Mom!!! Haha.

And then I spent like 5 days home, Penang. Basically spending time with families, and met up only with Nee. It was again lovely to catch up with some of my cousins whom I hadnt seen in the past few months!

After getting back to Singapore, I had a hard time settling down really, after playing so hard. School was going slow in the first 2 weeks and now things start to take off in the speed of light.

In a nutshell, I actually did SIN-MNL-TPE-MNL-KUL-PEN-JHB ;)
Thanks to Cebu Pacific Air and AirAsia.
And most importantly, thank God for His protection all along, both in the air and on the land, throughout. And also the joy that He's brought through the whole vacation.
