Romans 8
28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.
30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

I've got a lovely Henna

Everyone's having party on this ordinary Thursday, Dec 6 of 2007.
So I had to go to-
1. Bread and Spread at Mark's, well it's more for the beautiful henna tatoo
2. Ruta's farewell @ Lau Pa Sat
3. Orchard to pass my friend some documents, and a night show.

So Stanley and I got to Mark's at 8pm. Jan picked us up from the main entrance of Gillman Heights. It was lovely to see the group of friends from across the world.

Mark introduced me to this Abdul, whom I met in Central Library couple of days ago. Mark did a really brief introduction and just walked away because he was really busy, as he's the host of this supposedly illegal party, according to the the security guard at the condominium.

Abdul started by saying, "Did we meet?" Yea we didnt. Haha!
That definitely wasnt the best way to start a communication. So I was really frank to him, "Oh yea, could I please get one of those beautiful Henna?"
He's really nice to have drawn that for me so beautifully. Thanks Abdul!! :D
Stanley on the other hand looked rather lost. Haha. Hope he had a good time though.

After getting the Henna, I told Mark that I was gonna get going because I was trying to make it to see Ruta, and other peeps from Hospitality Club at Lau Pa Sat. CJ gave me a call telling me that they just got there at 8ish.

So I took a cab over from Gillman Heights to Lau Pa Sat and got there at 8.55pm. I walked around the place and didnt see any figures of them. Called Ruta up only to find out that they've left, and they're heading to Boat Quay.

Nice. Nice. So I didnt have time to mourn over the wasted cab fare- the major problem I faced was that I was gonna be so late for my 3rd appointment!

It was so freaking impossible to get a cab from the stupid Raffles Place! I waited for 30 minutes and there wasnt even a cab for me. I was finally late by a good 20 minutes when I got to Orchard.

It's a lovely night out. Except for the cabbing part >.<

Lesson learnt- You cant get a stupid cab in Singapore even if you have got the money to take a cab!
(Well, I didnt mean that I am that rich, but, cab doesnt come to me when I wanted to spend on the cab fare)

First visit to New Asia Bar

Finally- I'm done! :D
Exams are over!!

So today I went to New Asia Bar with Stanley and a few other friends. It was like a mini farewell outing as they're leaving Singapore within the next couple of days, or maybe one week.

The weather wasnt too good when we left home in late afternoon. It was raining still and we're praying that it wouldnt be too foggy up there.

1800 Foggy up there >.<
1830 Yay! We can see something!
1900 WHAT?!! =.="
2000 This is Singapooo :D
2000 Larvely
2000 Sweeeet

So they had some nice cocktails and I had a glass of yucks-grapefruit-juice.

As we're talking, Merlion was drinking away?! :o
It was really chilled and nice place. Met this Korean girl who told us a little bit about the stories of North and South Koreans. We talked a little bit about politics, just a tiny bit. Ha. And we're discussing about how there are 5 types of Chinese characters- Traditional Chinese (used in Taiwan), Traditional Chinese (used in Hong Kong), Simplified Chinese (used in China, Singapore, Malaysia etc), Japanese characters, and Korean characters. Haha.

We left at 8ish. Stanley and I had a walk along the Orchard road to take some pictures, and I thought this is a nice picture to share ;p

PS: I regret not going to New Asia Bar when Katsudon and other mini-United-Nation-members were here :( It's such a lovely place. Catters, would you please come back and I promise I would go with you now?!

I met a Turkish today

and she's got beautiful features!

Ha- I've been seeing this Turkish girl in the library everyday, and apparently she's a friend of Ruta's. Both of them were speaking in some language unknown to me- and it's Turkish apparently.

Ahh- so I met the first Lithuanian and Turkish in my life this year. Haha!

2 more exams to go- tomorrow and Wednesday. And done will I be!
Just keep drawing the divine strength and divine wisdom from Daddy God, knowing that I am His beloved.
Can't wait for holidays to come ;)

"I thought Europe was a country!"

Now. I thought I had the poorest knowledge in Geography. There's someone worse apparently!

"The right answer is Hungary."
"Is what?"
"Hungary."
"Hungry?"
"Like I'm hungry."
"That's a country? I've heard of Turkey. Hungry? I've never heard of it!"

She is- Kellie Pickler.
