I lost my Digi SIM card (my Malaysian SIM card) again!!
What's wrong with me now?! Lost 2 cards in few weeks time :s

MNC calls up 2nd year students for job offer?

My friend's friend back in Malaysia got a random phone call from a MNC offering him a job.
He told the person who called that he'll only graduate in 2010, and he thought that it would be some sort of internship offer only. Turned out it's a permanent job offer.

This had me thinking. How would a company call some random undergraduates to offer them jobs? And he's only in year 2. Well, how did the company manage to get the contacts to begin with?

Some of my friends graduated from the top-notched school here in Singapore actually took a few months to hunt for a job. And back in Malaysia the job offers just land on them?! While they're in year 2?!

PS: We're not sure if it's a scam, but we sure hope it's not ;p

What has exam done to me

I was sending a stack of postcards to my friends- to all over the world.
And I stood in front of the post office, I saw 2 different postboxes indicating, "Singapore", "Overseas".

I looked at that for 5 seconds.
And I dropped the stack of postcards into the "Singapore" one.

And 1 second later, I went, "Oops."

I told Karmun and CS about that.
Karmun, "Penny Ng Kooi Cia!"
CS, "....."

PS: 1 down, 4 more to go! God's gracious. God's divine strength is more than sufficient! :D

What a God's-presence-filled-exam-eve

It was a nice praise and worship tonight. Totally loved it. And I played the guitar again after so long! (Well, I didn't lead. Was just playing the guitar before and after ;p)

When Selene ministered to me, I was so moved.
"Many times you may think that you couldnt hear Him, and He's not listening- but He's telling you that He hears everything that you say."
-What an assurance. That's exactly how I feel most of the times. I feel that when I talk to God, it's like a monologue. But I know deep down that He's accomplished everything that needs to be done. So I'm rested in Him. And when Selene spoke right into me today, it was like a revelation. God's listening to me, finally! (Well, I know God has been listening, but I mean, it's like) Haha!

"God loves the moments when you talk to Him. Every single moment spent with Him will be multiplied. He'll give you the wisdom to redeem time, and that everything you do will surely be accelerated."

How loved. How blessed. Jesus is the one thing that I need to ace in every area in my life.

And I'm into the battle which Jesus is fighting for me tomorrow! All I need to do is to focus on the finished work, the perfectly finished work.

Call me Euterpe! :D

I wished I could study with music on like my friends do. I just couldn't. My minds will just flow with the music - rhythm, beats, instruments, vocals, everything...

I love music- so much, so much. Often I wished I was the pianist on stage, or the drummer in the band. Totally miss the times when I was in the worship team in my first church. Those were awesome times. That we could just praise Him with the talents that He's gifted us with ;)

Oh and I just created an account in Second Life today. And my name in there is Euterpe Destiny.

Internal Shuttle Bus in NUS

I was hoping into a shuttle bus home from Central Library at 10pm. And I saw a familiar face, my favourite bus driver ;p
He was as chatty as usual, despite the fact that he looked really tired.

Excerpts
"Girls must learn how to cook- or else your life will be hard after you get married."
"I started driving since 4am today, and I've been out since then. I was out when the sun was still sleeping, and now that the moon is already up and working, I am not home yet."

Highlights
"We (the drivers) prefer driving during the weekends, when there is no government."

Obviously, by saying government, he meant the aunty. Haha.

Perhaps he wouldn't know how much do we, or at least me, appreciate the aunty.

A friend of mine visited from another fine university and he's amazed to look at our shuttle bus system.

"What? Our buses stop running after 9pm."
"Sometimes it takes forever to come."
"It's just so hard to predict what time will the bus come, so we would rather walk to school everyday."
"You even have the timetable at each stop?! That's so systematic!"

And last but not least,

Home is home :D

I've been back in Penang to
1. see my dentist
2. get my hair cut
3. get a new pair of glasses

I've got
1. 3 teeth patched @ MYR 135
2. my hair cut @ MYR 22
3. glasses @ MYR 90

Yay! This trip absolutely worth it all! Just imagine how much more I would spend if I got the above mentioned things done in Singa?

There's another project submission on this coming Tuesday, a 5000-word-monster. However I havent spent much time on it >.< Having a uber fun loving family sometimes, well, takes away all your time that you should allocate for your work. Haha.
Dont get me wrong ey? I always thank God for blessing me with bestest families :D

I have fun catching up with families and god-mummy, and also the little munchkin at home- Milk Milk :p

I've been so well fed since I got back.
And my cousin's friend from KL is here visiting during the break as well. She kept saying that, "Aiyoh, so noisy! You guys are like kids :s"

Hahah ;p Oh yea, the sort of noise we would make when we get together. Haha!

I should start looking forward to going back to Singaland.

Just blessed ;p

When I was on my way home from church, I saw 4 people talking to each other using hand language. Well I want to learn hand language - I want to be able to express myself without making too much noise, haha! I think it's really gonna be fun.

Anyways, I was really impressed - they're putting their messages across so beautifully, as enthusiastic, as passionate. And the whole process was absolutely silent. What really struck me was that - communication has never been simpler!

Again I'm just reminded of how blessed am I, or rather, have I been. Daddy God has never been stingy with His love - because He is love :D
Instead, He's over-generous!

Just wanna praise Him - with a beautiful song that I just love simply.

Singapore is not entirely 'accessible' anyways

I've been searching for the information on the anti-smoking campaign in Singapore that's being carried out in year 2005, 2006 and 2007.

To my dismay,
1. I can't seem to get much out of the internet for the 2005 and 2006
2. The governmental department can't seem to provide much help
And most importantly,
3. The people dont know anything about it
